Birthday mom gets great gift

GREAT BARRINGTON — The telephone rang at about 1:20 p.m., and Cindy Brown's 12-year-old daughter, Fiona, picked up.
It was Cara Davis, executive director of Construct Inc., asking for her mother. Fiona handed over the phone.
'Cindy?' Davis said. 'Hi, it's Cara Davis. How are you? I understand it's your birthday.'
Brown acknowledged that it was.
'Well,' said Davis, 'Happy Birthday. You're the winner of our raffle. You've won the Toyota Prius.'"
