IRS data proposal alarms hospitals

IRS data proposal alarms hospitals: "The Michigan Health & Hospital Association is voicing serious concerns about proposed Internal Revenue Service changes to the way nonprofits report their finances. The trade group is worried about changes to the agency's Form 990, a financial disclosure statement that nonprofits must file every year. New rules could require health systems to report detailed data about the community benefit they provide that justifies their tax-exempt status."
