Quiltmaker's work raises thousands for charity -- Newsday.com: "FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Cecily Zerega can't write out a check for $1,000 to help area charities like the Mercy Learning Center or Operation Hope. What she can do, however, is create beautiful quilts, many of them highly detailed, for community groups to raffle or auction off to raise money for their missions.

And boy, has she been quilting."
