Tulsa World: Senators shun shoes for charity

Tulsa World: Senators shun shoes for charity: "Going sans footwear definitely runs contrary to chamber protocol, but the rules were briefly suspended so several senators, including Tom Adelson, D-Tulsa, could remove their shoes and socks to promote One Day Without Shoes, an initiative to provide shoes for poor children worldwide.

Sens. Andrew Rice, D-Oklahoma City, and Patrick Anderson, R-Enid, were the first to agree to take off their shoes."
