While some taxpayers have questioned the value of the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, two organizations in Taunton believe they are putting the money to good use, creating jobs and helping families.
The Taunton-based Associates of Human Services (AHS) has received $328,765 so far in stimulus funds from the Administration for Children and Families to expand its Early Head Start program to Norton, Attleboro and Middleboro, said the executive director of the nonprofit. The funds created four new positions for individuals hired for home visiting and management."
