First marathon at sea raises funds for 9/11 charity - USATODAY.com: While many cruisers enjoy a stroll around the promenade deck, passenger Steve Eaton took it to an extreme on Thursday, circling the Grand Princess 70 times to complete the world's first marathon at sea.

Eaton, who finished the 26.2 mile course in 5 hours, 16 minutes and 45 seconds, was raising money and attention for Help for Heroes, a charity providing support to those wounded, sick or injured in the line of duty since Sept. 11, 2001.
