Getting donated items to nonprofits is goal of Day of Sharing - The Daily Progress: Business: he 2013 class of Leadership Charlottesville has partnered with the United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area to sponsor the inaugural United Way Day of Sharing.
The goal of the event is to match local businesses with nonprofit organizations to donate items on the nonprofits’ wish lists. Items needed include office and school supplies, furniture and playground equipment.
