Journalist and author Jon Krakauer, who fueled the Three Cups of Tea scandal with his accusations about memoirist Greg Mortenson’s veracity and his Central Asia Institute’s finances, alleges in The Daily Beast that Mr. Mortenson remains substantially in charge at the charity and that its operations are beset by corruption.
